Steven Pierson serves as Managing Partner at Lovell Minnick Partners, a private equity firm specializing in financial services, fintech, and business services investments. Since joining the firm in 2016, Pierson has led initiatives in technology-enabled financial businesses and chairs the firm's Partnership Committee, playing a pivotal role in strategic direction, investment selection, and diversity programs. He is recognized for his ability to guide transformative M&A and growth capital investments, and sits on the boards of several leading portfolio companies such as Omni Healthcare Financial, oneZero Financial, National Auto Care, and SRS Acquiom.
Prior to his leadership at Lovell Minnick Partners, Pierson was Head of FIG Investment Banking Americas and Global Head of Financial Technology & Services at UBS, where he oversaw major industry transactions and strategic investments for financial institutions. His storied investment banking career also includes tenures at Credit Suisse as Vice Chairman and Co-Head of FIG and Putnam Lovell Securities, where he advanced to head the investment banking division. Over two decades, Pierson developed a renowned record of executing landmark deals in asset management, insurance, banking, and fintech.
Steven Pierson earned his MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management from Virginia Tech University.
